Maroc Telecom - Morocco Back-Up Project: SUN E10K Back-Up project has been accomplished at Maroc Telecom. Symantec NetBackup Datacenter software and Oracle online backup tools have been applied onto an E10K with five domain spaces. In the backup process, an LTO driver was used under the STK L700 library. Maroc Telecom SAN data backup project was the second application in Morocco. Symantec NetBackup DataCenter software was installed onto SUN F480R along with Oracle online backup tools. Furthermore, two SUN E10K and production billing systems with 5 domain spaces have been applied onto three SUN E4500's used as testing and developing medium. During the backup process ten LTO drivers of the STK L700 library have been used.
Vizzavi - Greece Back-Up Project:
Vizzavi Back-Up Project has been accomplished as an aggregate backup project. Symantec Netbackup Business Server software was applied onto two of three Sun servers aggregated with Oracle online backup tools. In the backup process two DLT8000 drivers of the STK L20 library have been used. Sun 280R was used as the backup server.
The Egyptian Presidency - Egypt Back-Up Project: Backup Project of the Office of the President covers two fields containing a Sun E450 server and a Sun Blade 1000 server connected to tape libraries Sun L700 and Sun L180. Symantec NetBackup Datacenter software has been applied onto the two servers along with Oracle online backup tools.
New Generation Telecommunication - Jordan Back-Up Project: NewGen Backup Project was accomplished as a SAN backup project. NetBackup DataCenter software was built on SUN 6800 aggregating two spaces and used for the production system along with Oracle split mirror backup tools, SUN V240 used for the backup server and SUN V240 used for the test and development medium. Furthermore, 5 Windows NT system used as the E-mail and local file server was backed up using Symantec NetBackup Software. LTO2 driver of the STK L180 library was used during the backup process.
